Dentures are natural-looking replacement teeth that are removable.
There are two types of dentures:
Full dentures are used when all of the natural teeth have been removed.
Partial dentures are attached to a metal frame that is connected to remaining natural teeth and function as a replacement for removed teeth.
Just like natural teeth, dentures need to be cared for. Use a gentle cleanser to brush your dentures, keep them moist when they’re not in use, and be sure to keep your tongue and gums clean as well.
Mount Vernon Dental Smiles offers a special New Patient Consultation to evaluate your teeth and gums and show you the ways you can improve your smile. We can take pictures of your teeth and — using cosmetic imaging software — manipulate them to show you how your smile would look using different procedures.
